They are still subject to change so keep checking back for updates. Let us know if you have any questions/concerns. Thank you!
Pharmacy Council has proposed to...
-Having articles from the Script appear in the Daily Cougar, the UH newsletter -Having an online version of the Script -Getting more involved with campus events such as tailgating and homecoming -Participating in the Student Activity Center's Organization/Student Leader awards, which include Organization of the Year, Professional Organization, Leader of the Year, Advisor of the Year, etc. What do you think about these ideas? Any other ideas to become more involved with the UH campus? Our brand new NCPA president, Mr. Bobby Clay, just created a website for the organization. It includes the NCPA calendar, annoucements, gallery, and many more...CHECK IT OUT: https://sites.google.com/site/uhcopncpa/home (this is also available in the "Links" tab)
The Dean wanted an "umbrella" organization that would be a representative voice for all organizations- a way for pharmacy students to unite and have a place among the professions. Students need to discuss what purpose this organization should have in order achieve this goal and how it can be realized. Any suggestions?
The Dean would like to hold more convocations starting from next semester- do you have any suggestions/ideas on what they should be focused on (for instance, about ethics or having guest speakers)? Or where/when/how should we have these convocations to make them more convenient more students? Any comments would be appreciated!!
It's time to vote for a new representative for UHCOP in Student Government Association (SGA)! He/she attends all the Pharmacy Council meetings and updates us on what is happening on the UH campus. Rachel Harvey, a P1, is running. Please vote at http://election.uh.edu
Pharmacy Council hosts a picnic for all pharmacy students at the end of the school year. This year- we are thinking to have this event on May 6th---after P1's have their PCCA final exam on campus. Do you think this is a good date? If not, what other dates do you suggest?
A charity event hosted by PDC! It will be a competition between teams of 6 pharmacy students in various physical and mental challenges. Tentative games include tug-o-war, minesweeper, pharmacy trivia, and pharmacy boot camp. You can sign up on a team in an organization OR you can create your own team. The winning team gets to donate to charity of choice!! SIGN UP NOW- https://spreadsheets0.google.com/viewform?formkey=dHBkOGtGbDhVbEFJbEI2bldTYjNxeGc6MQ
We are looking to propose an extension of LRC hours until 9PM on the days before P1/P2 exams. During the extended hours, faculty approved students on the LRC Committee will supervise the area. What are your comments? Do you think this will be great appreciated by the students?
